As an artist, I bring many well-earned years of experience to design and illustration. I am a well-seasoned graphic designer, illustrator, and web designer who turns ideas into art. I began my career working in traditional mediums, such as paint, clay, and pencil. But feeling the need to expand my experience and goals, I obtained training in graphic design and computer animation--eventually teaching animation and design classes along the way.

I've also honed my technical writing skills over the years from my time at Boeing, where I wore a variety of hats. I have written, edited, and proofed content for a variety of topics. These have included corporate communications, technical manuals, training manuals, curriculum, handbooks, style guides, standards and process documentation, and more. I was managing editor of a global organization’s communications blog, and managed numerous organizational web sites. I have been a coach and mentor to content owners and support personnel for other sites.

 

I've collaborated with all organizational levels, nationally and internationally, and provided consultation services enterprise-wide. I always strive for open and honest communication and feel it's critical for success.

 

Learning is an essential part of living, but I hope to never surrender the joy of "play" as part of the creation process. In my work and my life, I continually seek quality in concept, design, and execution.
